A comparison site, not a casino, and open about the difference.
Spin Prospector reviews and compares online casinos licensed to operate in Great Britain. We do not run games, hold player accounts, take stakes, pay out winnings or take any part in play. The site earns money when a reader opens an account through one of our links, and everything below is an attempt to be straight about what that does and does not affect.
Why the angle is game studios
Comparison sites almost all sort by welcome offer, which is convenient for everyone except the reader. Offers expire, get restructured and vary by region; the supplier list behind a lobby changes far more slowly and shapes every session you will ever have on that site.
So the grades here weight studio coverage most heavily. How the money works
When a reader follows one of our tracked links and opens an account, the operator pays us a commission. It costs the reader nothing and does not change the offer they land on. That arrangement funds the writing, the hosting and the time spent re-checking lobbies, and it is the standard model across this whole corner of the internet.
The obvious risk is that commission quietly buys position. Two rules keep that from happening here. Card order and grades are settled from the criteria before any commercial consideration is applied, and we list operators regardless of whether an arrangement exists — the ones with no arrangement are graded the same way as the rest.

What we won't publish
No invented user reviews, no star ratings attributed to readers who do not exist, and no counts of “happy players” that nobody could verify. If we have not checked something ourselves, it does not go on the page.
No specific bonus figures either. Promotions change faster than we can re-check five sites, and a stale number presented as current is worse than no number. We record the type of offer and send you to the operator for the terms.
And nothing framing gambling as income, a strategy or a solution to anything. It is a form of entertainment with a cost attached, the odds favour the house by design, and any page that implies otherwise is selling something.
Where our judgement runs out
We can tell you which studios are in a lobby, how the filters behave and whether the app is a real product or an afterthought. We cannot tell you how a specific account will be handled, how a bonus dispute will be resolved, or whether a site will suit you personally. Criteria are applied and grades fixed before the commercial arrangement is looked at. An operator paying more does not move up, and an operator paying nothing does not get left off.
Checked, not assumed
Licence status comes from the public register, lobby contents from the lobby. Where we can't verify something — a smaller operator's supplier list, for instance — we say so rather than filling the gap.
Corrections get made
